Lawn care in Jacksonville and Jacksonville Beach

Dorr to Door LLC is a locally owned lawn care company in Jacksonville, Florida. We mow and maintain residential and commercial properties in Jacksonville and Jacksonville Beach. The priority areas are Jacksonville Beach (ZIP 32250), ZIP 32224, and ZIP 32225. We are insured. Estimates are free.

A regular visit is straightforward. We mow, edge, trim, and blow clippings off driveways, walks, and other hard surfaces. The schedule is weekly or biweekly, based on the size of the property, the condition of the grass, how fast it is growing, and the time of year. In the warm months, most North Florida yards need a shorter gap between cuts. When growth slows, every other week is often enough. We will say which one fits the yard instead of locking you to a calendar that ignores the weather.

North Florida turf is mostly St. Augustine and Bahia. Those grasses do not behave like a northern fescue lawn. St. Augustine spreads by runners and can look thin if it is scalped or if the mower shows up too late after a rainy stretch. Bahia is coarser and more often seen on larger or less irrigated lots. We cut what is actually growing on the property. We do not advertise pesticide application.

Recurring lawn service does not use a contract. If the work is what you wanted, we keep the route. If it is not, you are not stuck in a term agreement for ordinary mowing. One-time cuts are available when the yard and the schedule allow. Many people start with a single cut after a trip or a vacancy, then move to weekly or biweekly service once the height is back under control.

If the grass is only part of the problem, say so when you ask for the estimate. Brush, vines, piled debris, and a yard that has not been touched in months are property work, not a routine mow. We can look at that scope and, if you want, put the lawn on a schedule afterward so it does not return to the same state. Bed work, mulch, and hedge trimming are on our landscaping page. Ongoing care for rentals, vacant lots, and commercial sites is on property maintenance. Mold and mildew on concrete, siding, and fences is exterior cleaning, handled as necessary maintenance and done within current water rules.

Where we focus is specific. Jacksonville Beach addresses are mainly ZIP 32250, on the coast. ZIP 32224 and ZIP 32225 are inland priority areas. They are not the same as Jacksonville Beach, and a Beach address should not be described with those ZIPs. Atlantic Beach and Neptune Beach are nearby. If the property is in one of those two cities, note it on the estimate and we will tell you whether it fits the route. We do not publish a street address. Service is by area only.
